Prince George’s County police say one woman was killed and another injured in a knifing incident in Hillcrest Heights early Saturday morning.
Police said officers responded to a report of a cutting on the 4400 block of 23rd Parkway at about 1:30 a.m. One adult woman was found unconscious with trauma wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another woman, also an adult, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Detectives are investigating the case as a homicide, police said. No information about suspects or a motive was available.
