Former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson said her controversial relationship with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is deeply rooted in their personal connection and her belief in his work.
“He’s been wrongly accused of so many things,” Anderson said of Assange during an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
She explained she’s known Assange for years and they discuss a number of issues which has brought them close together.
She continued: “I always try to humanize him because people think he’s a robot or he’s a computer screen or he’s not this human being.”
“He’s so misunderstood,” Anderson said, “especially in Hollywood, and really hated, because of the Clinton monopoly on the media.”
The Hollywood star previously advocated for Assange during the French presidential election and pushed the candidates to protect the hacker by granting him citizenship if they were elected.
