Children at a hospital in Annandale, Va., received a visit from Israeli actress and “Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot on Friday, near where Gadot has been filming the sequel to her blockbuster superhero film.
One of the doctors at Inova Children’s Hospital, Lucas Collazo, tweeted out his appreciation for the star, who came decked out in her Wonder Woman attire. “You are a true Wonder Woman. The kids loved it…and so did the staff,” Collazo wrote.
During her visit, Gadot posed for photos with staff and kids alike.

Gadot is no stranger to child-affiliated charities and organizations. Last year, the actress worked on a campaign for equality in education with a group called “Pencils of Promise,” and has given her support to charities like n:Philanthropy, a fashion company that emphasizes child cancer research and donates a percentage of its proceeds to another children’s hospital.
As “Wonder Woman 1984” has been in production in the D.C. area for the past few weeks, sightings of the actors have been reported on the Internet and, though heavily secured, locals have been craning their necks to catch a peek of the highly anticipated sequel’s set.
