Pro-Trump social media personalities Diamond and Silk called on immigration officials to deport Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday after he claimed he was an undocumented immigrant.
Cuomo, who is facing a tough primary challenge from former “Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon, on Thursday pointed to his Italian ancestry to claim that he was an undocumented immigrant to show that he stands with those who face deportation.
“Well if he is undocumented, maybe ICE should go pay him a visit,” Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway said on “Fox & Friends” Friday morning. “Go ahead and deport him.”
Both of the women agreed that if Cuomo “really cared about illegal aliens” he would tell them they need to come to the United States legally.
“Keep in mind that sanctuaries are for birds. Catch and release are for fish. When you come to this country, come here the right way,” Rochelle “Silk” Richardson said.
