TRENTON, N.D. (AP) — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is proposing a $65,300 fine for a company in the North Dakota oil patch.
OSHA says in a statement that Nomac Drilling of Killdeer committed three safety violations, including failing to provide fall protection for workers at a Trenton well site.
The company has about two weeks to contest the findings.
Nomac Drilling spokesman Bob Jarvis tells The Bismarck Tribune that the company takes worker safety seriously and will address OSHA’s concerns when it receives details from the agency.
