Four are dead after a shooting at a Halloween party in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office and the Orinda Police Department were alerted to the shooting around 11:45 p.m. on Friday night. When officers arrived at the scene, four were dead, and at least four others had been injured in the shooting.
Orinda Police Department and Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff are working a multiple shooting in Orinda. Investigation is active. Details coming later.

Officers had arrived at the scene of the shooting earlier in the evening due to the size of the crowd present. The department claimed that officers were “being overwhelmed” by the size of the crowd when the shooting took place.
The shooting is still under investigation, and it is not clear if the shooter has been detained.
