Fox News host Laura Ingraham said Democrats won’t let the coronavirus crisis end because they intend to use it to codify election laws and keep a majority.
“Under the guise of protecting public health, liberal state officials made sweeping changes to election laws that were designed to benefit their candidates,” Ingraham said on her Fox News program this week. “Then they simultaneously eliminated key voter-integrity safeguards enshrined in state laws and constitutions. Well, since this worked out really well for them in the end, Pelosi and the gang, well, they want to make these changes permanent.”
Ingraham explained that “anyone with a tiny little brain” can see that the voting rights bill praised by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has “zero to do” with empowering voters and instead has the “sole purpose is to ensure a permanent Democrat majority.”

Democrats intend to use universal mail-in ballots, early voting, same-day voter registration, ballot harvesting, and loosening voter ID laws to keep the majority they won during the coronavirus pandemic last year, according to Ingraham.
She outlined several problems she sees with the legislation, including illegal immigrants being allowed to vote, voter registration being accepted from 16-year-olds, and potentially turning colleges and universities into “voter mills.”

“You know what should never happen again? Allowing Democrats or, frankly, anyone to use a pandemic or any other crisis, real or imagined, to pervert our voting process and to gut voter ID requirements,” Ingraham said. “We need to restore integrity to our elections and not allow partisan outside forces to dilute or cancel our votes.”
