WASHINGTON (AP) — The House Ethics Committee won’t investigate eight House members arrested during an immigration protest near the Capitol earlier this month.
The committee published a report Thursday saying each lawmakers had made a $50 “collateral payment” and that charges had been dropped. The committee says there’s no reason for further investigation because the local charges are resolved.
