The split between Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson has gotten ugly fast — the DJ and her family are seeking a restraining order against her volatile ex. Multiple reports claim that the Ronsons visited the Beverly Hills Police Department on Monday and were directed to seek the order in court.
These developments follow the bad scene that happened Friday, when a heartbroken LiLo had to be restrained by security from crashing a party in honor of Sam’s designer twin, Charlotte. According to OK! magazine, the spurned “Mean Girls” star spent the night harassing the sisters and brother Mark; she allegedly booked a hotel room at the Chateau Marmont directly above theirs — and even broke into their room.
According to OK!, S.Ro’s mother, Ann Dexter-Jones, told a police clerk that “[Lindsay] was doing drugs. And we could not sleep that night at the Chateau. She was complaining about the music and noise coming from upstairs. She was trying to get attention, so that Sam could come down.”
For her part, Lindsay appears to be in denial; after insisting the couple had not broken up, she conceded to E! only that “we are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself.”
But Sam evidently wants a more permanent split. If the restraining order isn’t enough proof, she has even committed the ultimate act of breakup finality — updating her MySpace status to single.
