WATCH: Arnold Schwarzenegger kicked from behind

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former Republican governor of California and world famous actor, was attacked from behind while attending the Arnold Classic Africa at the Sandton Convention Centre in South Africa on Saturday, according to the Sandton Chronicle.

Video uploaded on YouTube shows the 71-year-old former bodybuilder meeting with fans and taking videos of them at the event. It then shows as Schwarzenegger hands a phone back to someone, a man runs up to him and kicks him, pushing Schwarzenegger into the crowd.

Schwarzenegger’s security team can be seen jumping on the man and restraining him. The video then shows Schwarzenegger returning to his seat, seemingly unharmed.

He later tweeted there was nothing to be worried about. “I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat,” he said.

Schwarzenneger, an Austria native who emigrated to the U.S. at 21, won his first of five Mr. Universe bodybuilding titles in 1967 and his first of seven Mr. Olympia titles in 1970. He ran for governor of California in 2003 and won the special election, and was re-elected in 2006.
