Senate plans Wednesday vote on bipartisan infrastructure package

The Senate has the votes to advance a bipartisan infrastructure package costing $1.2 trillion tonight, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced Wednesday.

The New York Democrat told reporters he intends to hold a vote to begin debate on the bill after meeting with party lawmakers and following an announcement by Republican negotiators earlier today that they had reached a deal with both Democrats and the White House.
