Hillary Clinton’s running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine, took to the Sunday morning news shows to raise doubt about the legitimacy of the FBI’s renewed investigation into the Democratic nominee this close to an election.

“I just have no way of understanding these actions,” Kaine told “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos. The actions are “completely unprecedented,” he said, reiterating the talking points the campaign has been using since Friday when the FBI renewed its probe.
