Although she knew a divorce was coming, Charlie Sheen’s wife feels betrayed because he filed papers first, her lawyer groused to TMZ.
In May, when they hashed out an agreement about property and custody of their two sons, they agreed they would not divorce for a year, the attorney claims, because Brooke Mueller “didn’t want to make trouble for Charlie” during his legal battle (over charges of domestic assault — of her).
By pulling the trigger early, “Charlie humiliated Brooke,” says the lawyer.
The “Two and a Half Men” star’s manager — who seems to be defending him a lot lately — fires back, “Charlie tried to reach out to Brooke and left her a message before filing for divorce. It’s a shame that this ambulance chaser is trying to drum up more business because this divorce was finalized and agreed upon six months ago.”
Not sure he understands what “ambulance chaser” means, but OK.
‘Teen’ Split
You probably won’t shed a tear to hear that controversial “Teen Mom” couple Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley have split up. The parents of 2-year-old Leah “don’t belong together. They just don’t mix. There’s not enough there,” Amber’s father Shawn Portwood told Radar Online. “They separated and she’s moving on.”
Their volatile relationship made headlines when the MTV show aired an argument during which Amber, 20, hit her older baby daddy. But though viewers were shocked by the young mother’s outburst, and social services was called in to investigate, Shawn insists his daughter’s side of the story wasn’t told.
“There was a lot behind the scenes that wasn’t shown that would explain how she got to that point,” he explained, “They didn’t show what he did to instigate that. All you have to do is watch the show and see what he says. ‘I’m taking the kid … I’m taking her forever.’ He held Leah over her head.”
Whoever’s at fault, we’re relieved they’re moving on.
Puppy Love?
We’re thinking it’s safe to say that Ryan Phillippe prefers blondes. After getting a divorce from Reese Witherspoon and splitting with starlet Abbie Cornish, the “Crash” star has his eye on a new flaxen-haired actress: Amanda Seyfried.
The pair were getting close at Kate Hudson’s Halloween bash over the weekend and even left together. (Amanda, who split with “Mamma Mia” costar Dominic Cooper earlier this year, tried to duck down in the car to hide from cameras — but that’s kinda hard when you’re wearing a giant brown puppy costume.)
The actress was “flirty” with the actor, an onlooker relayed to Us magazine: “She was listening to him and talking close but no making out … she seemed intrigued by him.” For his part, Ryan “was being extra friendly and spirited.” Noted the observer, “I’ve never seen him in such a good mood. He looked cute and was smiling a lot.”
Asked by photographers about the possibility of a romance, Amanda responded, “You never know.” And yet we’ve already jumped to conclusions.
Single AnnaLynne
After two years, AnnaLynne McCord has parted ways with “Twilight” hottie Kellan Lutz — and she’s already moved on to a hunky male model.
At a Halloween bash in Las Vegas, the “90210” star and model-actor Aaron O’Connell “were holding hands and flirting all night,” a source dished to Life&Style magazine. “The two are clearly a couple. They looked cute together.”
As for Kellan, he was spotted the same weekend at an Atlantic City spa, where “he definitely seemed like a bachelor,” an onlooker proclaimed.
Evidently their on-off relationship ran its course, says the first source: “They just weren’t compatible, so they are taking a break. AnnaLynne seemed really happy over the weekend. I’m not sure Kellan was the right person for her.”
Insightful, that source.
