Baltimore County Police are searching for four men they accuse of robbing pedestrians of watches, wallets and cash in the Parkville area last month.
The unarmed men worked as a team in each incident, police said. In each, a white male suspect approached the victim and was then joined by three black suspects, all wearing dark clothing.
Police said the four are responsible for robbing a 47-year-old man walking in the unit block of Fitzgerald Court around 8 p.m. Dec. 12 of a watch, bag and cash; a 47-year-old man getting out of his car on the unit block of Pinemont Place around 6:20 p.m. Dec. 13 of a wallet, credit cards and cash; and a 17-year-old male walking near Thornewood Drive and Fourth Avenue around 8:45 p.m. Dec. 21 of a watch, cell phone, credit card and cash.
Police said the suspects physically attacked the most recent victim.
Caught on surveillance tape while in a High?s convenience store on Belair Road, the white suspect is between 20 and 28 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and short blond hair. One black suspect is between 20 and 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. The other two black suspects are about 20 years old, between 5 feet 6 inches and 6 feet tall with medium builds.
The incidents preceded a rash of robberies in the Towson area last week, according to a weekly police report of significant crimes in the sixth precinct. In one incidence, three unknown males barged into a home on the 100 block of Marbuth Avenue and asked the inhabitants, “Where is the money?”
The suspects began fighting with the homeowner and stole $1 before fleeing. All three suspects wore white hooded sweatshirts, black jeans and blue bandanas.
