A shooting in District Heights Sunday morning left one man dead and another injured, Prince George’s County Police reported.
At 8:19 a.m. Sunday, police responded to reports of a shooting on the 2700 block of Judith Avenue, according to police spokesman Cpl. Mike Rodriguez. When they arrived, they found two men suffering apparent gunshot wounds. Both men, who have not been identified, were transported to a nearby hospital, where one was pronounced dead. The other victim’s injuries were not life threatening.
Police believe there was an altercation inside the home where they found the two men. Multiple people were inside the home, though Rodriguez said he could not say how many.
Police are investigating for possible suspects and motives.
