Liberal comedian Kathy Griffin jumped to the defense of conservative pundit Tomi Lahren on Tuesday after Lahren was harassed at a restaurant in Minnesota.
“I couldn’t disagree more with @TomiLahren, but I don’t think it’s cool to resort to physical actions to make your point,” Griffin tweeted in response to a Mediaite report of the encounter.
“The first amendment is a beautiful thing – use it,” she continued.

While having brunch at a Minneapolis restaurant this weekend, Lahren was heckled by patrons who yelled profanities at her and threw drinks in her direction. Videos of the altercation surfaced on Twitter, gaining national attention.
Lahren has ruffled feathers in the past for her controversial pro-Trump tirades on social media and TV.
