Megyn Kelly sends well-wishes to ‘tireless warrior’ Rush Limbaugh after he revealed cancer diagnosis

Journalist and author Megyn Kelly was one of several public figures to offer encouraging words to conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh after he announced he was diagnosed with cancer.

“Just heard the news about Rush Limbaugh, a man who loves this country and his listeners dearly, and is a tireless warrior for things he holds dear,” Kelly tweeted Monday. “Wishing him strength and tenacity as he takes on this new battle w/advanced lung cancer. Do what you do so well, Rush — FIGHT.”


On his show on Monday, Limbaugh told listeners he was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and might miss time on the air while he receives treatment.

“So I have to tell you something today that I wish I didn’t have to tell you,” he said. “And it’s, it’s a struggle for me because I had to inform my staff earlier today … I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.”

Well-wishes across the political and media landscape poured in for the conservative media pundit.
