Private tax collector in Conn. may win windfall

TORRINGTON, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut’s only private tax collector, could earn as much as $200,000 in interest on about $1 million in unpaid taxes when he tries to sell delinquent property in three tax sales in August and October.
