A Marine emails:
“The troops are tired, the American people are pretty tired.” Pretty insulting. Not something you like to hear from the second highest link in the chain of command when you have buddies fighting, getting wounded, and dying overseas. And everything I’ve heard directly contradicts this bull–t idea that the troops are tired. The Marines are tired of doing nothing in Iraq and tired of being in garrison in the U.S. They are chomping at the bit to kill Taliban in Afghanistan.
