FIGHTING FOR SURVIVAL.
A WEEK AFTER ISRAEL BEGAN IT’S OFFENSIVE AGAINST MILITANTS IN THE HAMAS-CONTROLLED GAZA, MORE THAN 170 PALESTINIANS HAVE BEEN
KILLED… HUNDREDS MORE INJURED.

ISRAEL HAS CARRIED OUT MORE THAN 13-HUNDRED AIR STRIKES OVER THE PAST WEEK IN AN ATTEMPT TO DIMINISH HAMAS’ ABILITY TO FIRE
ROCKETS.
OVER THE WEEKEND, IT WIDENED ITS RANGE OF TARGETS TO CIVILIAN INSTITUTIONS WITH SUSPECTED HAMAS TIES.
IN RETURN, HAMAS HAS FIRED NEARLY 1000 ROCKETS AND MORTARS AT ISRAEL AND SAYS IT WON’T BE THE FIRST TO CEASE FIRE.
THE OFFENSIVE MARKS THE HEAVIEST FIGHTING SINCE A SIMILAR EIGHT-DAY CAMPAIGN IN NOVEMBER 2012 TO STOP GAZA ROCKET FIRE.
