The principal at John Eaton Elementary in Northwest is ascending into the white, warm glow of central office.
Jacqueline Gartrell will be leaving Eaton at the end of the year to “work more closely with Chancellor Henderson,” according to a letter to the Eaton community from the advisory team and parents organization. “We are so sorry to see her go but are happy for the great opportunity that has been extended to her.”
The school’s instructional supervisor will be soliciting nominations for a panel of parents, teachers, and staff to interview potential new principals in the coming weeks.
The Georgetown Patch also reported that a permanent principal has been named for Hardy Middle School.
