LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Translational Research Institute is awarding $493,000 to 10 researchers for various pilot projects.

The one-year awards of approximately $50,000 each are provided for projects to considered to be the strongest prospects of being “translated” — or adapted — to public use.
