Reagan’s son: ‘Nancy would vote for Hillary’

Michael Reagan, the son of the late president, confessed Monday that he believes Ronald Reagan’s second wife, Nancy, would vote for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton over the Republican choice, Donald Trump.

“Jane Wyman was my mother but I can tell u that Nancy would vote for Hillary and was appalled to hear people say he reminds them of RR,” Reagan tweeted late Monday. Michael was adopted during Ronald’s first marriage to Wyman, though Nancy was the first lady during her husband’s service.

Reagan’s comment may not come as a surprise after months of complaining about the billionaire businessman. But on Monday, Reagan’s rant focused on Trump’s claim over the weekend that Clinton has cheated on her husband, Bill.

“I am embarrassed by Trump and the applause he receives when infering [sic] she cheats on Bill..Not the Party of Reagan..Someone has to stand up,” he https:/t.co/ATYzc9HPj5

“>tweeted. “Don’t care if [Donald Trump’s] tax plan mirrors my fathers..He is no [Ronald Reagan]..and u need to get elected to implamenft [sic] it,” he later wrote.

Reagan’s defensive posts Monday were an about-face from a blog post he wrote last week following the debate, in which he said Trump could turn the election around with a good performance in the next debate.
