Sources said a person was killed after being stabbed to death at an Oxon Hill Popeyes in Maryland.
The death occurred Monday evening at around 7 p.m. at the 6200 block of Livingston Road and happened after a fight over the chicken sandwich.
Police responding to the scene found the victim in the parking lot outside of the Popeyes, and the man was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.
Police are working to find the perpetrator.
The sandwich made a hyped reappearance Sunday after selling out earlier this year from high demand.
