WATCH: Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro tapped as new co-hosts of The View

Both former White House Director of Strategic Communications Alyssa Farah Griffin and political commentator Ana Navarro were announced Thursday as new additions to the team on The View.

“I guess it’s safe to say it’s ending right now,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg said unenthusiastically about the search for a new co-host. She then introduced Farah.

Farah fawned over her new co-hosts and explained how honored she was to be a part of the program.

“I am so proud to have found my voice,” she told her co-hosts.

ABC made the announcement despite threats of boycott from fans who are not fond of Farah. According to some reports, her new co-hosts aren’t too keen on their new co-host, either. If that weren’t enough, Farah also faces criticism from the Right, many of whom believe she dramatically changed her beliefs in order to book television gigs.
