Apparently desperate for attention, Madonna has pulled yet another stunt while on tour.
The aging singer brandished fake pistols and machine guns during her concert in Scotland, just days after the shooting in Aurora, Colo., that left 12 dead at a midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises.”
Police officials warned the pop superstar not to include any imagery of firearms or fake weapons during the Edinburgh show in the wake of the cinema massacre.
But Madge didn’t listen and her camp remained defiant, the Huffngton Post reported. “Madonna would rather cancel her show than censor her art, a member of the singer’s tour staff said. “Her entire career she has fought against people telling her what she can and cannot do. She’s not about to start listening to them now.”
According to HuffPo, her performance drew the ire of Mothers Against Guns, who said the 53-year-old singer “should know better.”
While trying to stay relevant, Madonna has pulled several odd stunts during her MDNA tour. She has mooned the audience, put swastikas on politicians’ faces, started a feud with Lady Gaga and flashed her nipple.
Stay classy, Madonna.
On again?
Just when you think the rumors of a Rihanna-Chris Brown reunion are finally done, they find a way to get everyone talking again.
RiRi has been tweeting and sharing Instagram photos of her vacation in St. Tropez on Magic Johnson’s yacht. And guess who else made his way to St. Tropez? You guessed it. Breezy himself.
Ludacris tweeted that he was heading to the South of France and soon after, Chris tweeted that he was with Luda in a helicopter landing on a boat.
Weird, Rihanna is on a boat.
Then, Ri tweeted, “Touch down baby.”
Weird, helicopters touch down.
And to add fuel to the fire, it seems Chris broke up with his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, last week. (Bet you’re regretting that tattoo of her face right about now, aren’t you Breezy?)
Familiar territory
Longtime friends Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have denied that they’re dating for a while now. But this week, at a wrap party for Ashton’s new film, “Jobs,” the two were spotted kissing in plain sight.
In an interview with Elle, Mila said the two have mutual friends and hang out, and in April she denied dating rumors, calling them “absurd.” The unconfirmed couple were later spotted shopping, road-tripping, restaurant hopping and motorcycle riding.
The two played an on-again, off-again couple on “That ’70s Show” for eight years, so this is likely very familiar territory for both of them.
Third time’s the charm
It appears Cybill Shepherd is going to go for marriage No. 3 soon.
The actress, 62, has announced that she is engaged to psychologist Andrei Nikolajevic.
Cybill tells the New York Daily News that Andrei proposed several weeks ago in New York City.
“It was very romantic and on one knee,” she said. “I never thought I’d get married again.”
