The U.S. government is now offering $25 million to anyone who comes forward with information that leads military officials to the Islamic State’s self-declared ruler, according to a State Department press release issued Friday.

The boosted reward more than doubles the $10 million the department initially offered in October 2011 for the location, arrest or conviction of Abu Bakr Baghdadi.
