Omarosa Manigault Newman, former director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison, said Monday that she would be willing to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller as part of his ongoing Russia investigation if his office calls her again.
In an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, Manigault Newman said she had “plenty” of recordings of President Trump as she has begun to leak secretly recorded conversations with him and other staff members in the West Wing this week.
Matthews then pressed her if Mueller would be interested in any of the recordings.
“If his office calls again, anything they want, I’ll share,” she said. “Anything that they want, I’ll certainly cooperate.”
Manigault Newman who first met Trump as a contestant on his show “The Apprentice” also said she believed that “at this point,” Trump would be impeached.

Manigault Newman’s media blitz comes in the run-up to the release of a book critical of the Trump administration called “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.” The book is scheduled to be released Tuesday.
Manigault Newman revealed in the book that she was contacted by the FBI earlier this year, according to a section obtained by the Washington Examiner.
“We are reminded daily that Trump is still in the throes of the Mueller investigation. The special investigators are conducting interviews with subjects who have stories to tell,” Manigault Newman wrote at the end of her book. “In early 2018, I, too, received a call from the FBI. We’ll see how that goes.”
Some have questioned the claims made in the book. For example, George Conway, husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, denied allegations included in Manigualt Newman’s book that Trump had used derogatory terms like “flip” and a “goo goo” to describe him.
“The allegation is not credible, and indeed is ridiculous, particularly in light of the timing of her departure from the White House — December 12, 2017,” George Conway, who is half-Filipino, tweeted. “It’s absurd all around.”
President Trump also attacked Manigualt Newman early Monday morning.
“Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard … really bad things. Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me – until she got fired!” Trump tweeted Monday morning.
The White House announced in December that Manigault Newman was leaving from her post. She told ABC’s “Nightline” the same month that during her time at the White House, there “were a lot of things that I observed during the last year that I was very unhappy with.”
