An article in Friday’s issue of the Washington Examiner about Maryland speed cameras incorrectly reported two facts: The Maryland State Highway Administration uses federal money appropriated for construction sites to help fund mobile speed cameras in work zones; and about 550 fatalities occur annually throughout Maryland, spokesman David Buck said.
