Homer Simpson backs Clinton after Marge threatens no sex

Hillary Clinton gained two new high-profile supporters Saturday night: Homer and Marge Simpson.

A video released on the Animation on Fox YouTube channel revealed that all it took to get Homer and Marge on the same page politically was the threat of abstinence.

The video opens with Homer and Marge making out in bed. Marge stops abruptly, claiming, “I can’t make love until I’ve decided who to vote for.”

“Yup, it’s the American way,” Homer responds.

He turns on the TV, which is playing a conveniently timed campaign ad for Hillary Clinton reminiscent of her “3 a.m. phone call” ad from the 2008 election.

In the ad, Clinton is portrayed as being always ready for action, while her Republican opponent Donald Trump had to finish tweeting, barking orders and undergoing an elaborate primping process before he would even pick up the phone.

“We’re too late? The Chinese fleet are advancing? Just build another wall. Yes, in the ocean, loser,” Trump says, offering his best solution.

The ad was paid for by “Americans who are really starting to miss Obama.”

After the ad, Marge says she knows exactly whom she’s voting for and asks Homer if he has made up his mind. “I’m voting for … Trump, right?” Homer asks tentatively.

“If that’s your vote, I question whether I can ever be with you again,” Marge says, moving their dog, Santa’s Little Helper, between them on the bed.

“And that’s how I became a Democrat,” Homer says, kissing Marge on the cheek as the video ends.
