The Obama-Biden team will literally be rolling out of Denver.
Just as for Kerry-Edwards, Gore-Lieberman and Clinton-Gore, the Democratic running mates will kick off their general election swing by bringing their spouses along for a bus tour of battleground states.
When the convention wraps today, the candidates, along with wives Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, will travel by motor coach from Denver to Pennsylvania. (It’s about 1,500 miles if they only make it as far as Pittsburgh.)
The caravan will then swing through Ohio and Michigan over the weekend.
