Mitt Romney must apologize to President-elect Trump if he wants to be his secretary of state, according to a report.
Fox News’ Ed Henry is citing sources who say the former GOP nominee for president and Massachusetts governor must make the apology after a forceful attack against Trump this year.

During that attack in March, Romney called Trump a “fake,” “fraud” and “con man.”
“His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He’s playing the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat.”
News that Trump was considering Romney to be his top diplomat has roiled his supporters, who view the former nominee’s public and personal attack to be unforgivable.
