Donald Trump on Thursday night asked repeatedly if he could ride the mechanical “horse” at a well-known honky tonk bar in Dallas, drawing some confusion from the crowd who knew it’s really a mechanical bull.
“Where’s that horse? I want to go on the horse,” Trump said, misidentifying the type of mechanical animal he wished to ride. The bar he was at was the site of were much of the 1980 film “Urban Cowboy” was filmed.
“Let’s get that horse. I’ll ride that horse,” he repeated, drawing murmurs and cheers from the crowd.
Trump claimed that even if he rode the bull without falling off, members of the media would still mock him the following day.
“Even if I make it, they’ll say I fell off the horse and it’s terrible,” he charged.
