Hillary Clinton on Monday trashed the idea of cuts to the post-9/11 GI Bill that are supported in the Senate by her new running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va.
Clinton spoke at the Veterans of Foreign Wars national convention in North Carolina Monday, and said she would fight against cuts to housing allowances under the post-9/11 GI Bill. But while the package is bipartisan and has lots of support from Democrats, she blamed Republicans for the cuts.
