A Ford dealership in South Carolina is handing out an American flag, Bible, and $400 voucher for an AR-15 to every buyer.
Carolina Ford in Honea Path is running the “God, Guns, and America” promotion for all of October and November. The dealership is already seeing results from their campaign and sales are up, according to Fox News.
The dealership is giving new car buyers an American flag and Bible with every purchase. The customer has the option of also receiving a $400 voucher for a Smith & Wesson AR-15 rifle or just taking $400 off the ticket price of the vehicle.
FOX Business reporter Lauren Simonetti pointed out that the dealership has received praise and blowback on social media for the promotion, with one user saying they “can’t wait for the lawsuits when your company is held liable for a shooting.”
Another user said, “God Bless America!! Good for you, too bad I don’t live closer.”
People have driven as far as two hours away to purchase a new vehicle at Carolina Ford during the promotion.
