Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver a speech Wednesday morning laying out his path forward for peace in the Middle East, according to a spokesman.
Mark Toner, the State Department’s deputy spokesman, said Tuesday that the remarks will be delivered at the State Department in Washington.
“In the speech, the secretary will lay out the comprehensive vision for how he believes the conflict can be resolved in the Middle East,” Toner said.
Toner said the speech will “touch on” the United Nations resolution that condemns Israeli settlements on the West Bank, but that it will focus more broadly on what Kerry sees for the future of the Middle East as he comes to the end of his time as secretary of state.
