A Washington, D.C., man who was injured in a collision Sunday remained in critical condition Monday at University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
Don Goodwin, 90, was backing out of a parking space at Crazy Rays Junkyard in Jessup, when he struck a parked vehicle with his 1991 Buick Roadmaster Station Wagon, according to Howard police.
Goodwin?s vehicle then accelerated forward about 100 feet at a high speed and went into a ditch.
Police said he may have suffered a medical emergency.
