Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden tested positive for COVID-19 with minor symptoms on Tuesday.
“I encourage everyone to get vaccinated and boosted to protect themselves and their families,” Wyden wrote on social media. “I’ll be continuing my work for Oregonians from my residence in DC until I test negative.”
Wyden, who proposed a 23.8% annual tax on billionaires’ unrealized capital gains in 2021, is the latest politician to test positive for COVID-19.
