WASHINGTON (AP) — Candidates for mayor of Washington are facing their latest fundraising deadline.

The reports due by midnight Friday will be the first test of Mayor Vincent Gray’s financial strength since he entered the race in December. The previous reports were due just days after the mayor entered the race, and he hadn’t raised any money yet.
