A White House staffer suffered a medical emergency on Thursday afternoon that required an ambulance to arrive just outside the West Wing.
The identity of the staffer remains unknown, though the person was identified as a member of the National Security Council.
Press secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters the individual suffered a seizure and was being taken to a hospital as a precaution.
