Baltimore City Circuit Judge Allen Schwait sentenced Reginald Williams, 35, of Baltimore, to life in prison Tuesday after he admitted to a series of sex offenses. Williams, of the 400 block of East Eager Street, pleaded guilty Oct. 26 to three counts of first-degree sex offense, one count of third-degree sex offense, one count of rape and three counts of second-degree assault.
He sexually assaulted five women over the span of three weeks between Dec. 3 and 22 in 2005, prosecutors said.
On Dec. 22, 2005, police attempted to arrest Williams in the 1200 block of West Saratoga Street when he fled into an alley and pulled a gun, causing officers to shoot Williams in the leg before apprehending him, according to prosecutors.
