The View host Whoopi Goldberg said Hillary Clinton would be her favorite pick to be Joe Biden’s vice president.
“The person who really is qualified to do it, and he cannot pick her: Hillary Clinton,” Goldberg said on Friday’s show. “In terms of qualifications, she is, she would be brilliant.”
Goldberg added that Biden would not be able to pick her as his vice president because of all the “backlash” that would ensue.
The hosts of The View agreed the 2020 Democratic presidential front-runner should strive to pick a woman as his running mate, prompting Goldberg to say Clinton was her favorite choice.
The former vice president is reportedly looking to pick a woman to be his running mate.
Actor James Woods predicted earlier this month that Biden would pick Clinton.
“So I pretty much predicted this,” Woods said in a recent tweet. “It’ll be #Biden and #Hillary as his vice presidential candidate. He will eventually ‘gracefully’ resign as his dementia worsens and… Voila! #MadamePresident at last! (and in case he gets indicted for his Ukraine corruption, she’ll pardon him…”
