This cartoon was inspired by the hilarious video of Miss South Carolina Teen USA and the multitude of stories about schools failing to meet testing standards. With kids returning to school after summer break, it seemed an appropriate moment to draw this idea. I hope the subtle humor isn’t lost on most people. If it is, you can blame the American education system.
