“Les Miserables,” the musical adaptation starring Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, and Russell Crowe, was originially set to be released on Dec. 14. Universal announced on Tuesday that the film has been pushed back to Christmas Day. The decision was made after execs saw a final cut of the film and decided it was appropriate for release on Christmas. It will be battling Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained,” which is one of the other movies set to be out that day.
