D.C. police found a dead man who had suffered a gunshot wound in a burning vehicle early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a single-car crash on the 3700 block of First Street SE at about 4:45 a.m. Saturday and found the vehicle on fire, police said.
Police said Delonte Butler, 29, of Seat Pleasant, was found inside the burning car. He had suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
