A stinky problem for Wilson Senior High

Thursday never smelled so sweet for the students of Woodrow Wilson Senior High School — considering, you know, their campus is backed up with sewage.

The students have the day off from classes due to the back-up at University of the District of Columbia, where Wilson is temporarily located while its Tenleytown campus is renovated.

“DCPS is notifying parents and staff, and will update the Wilson community as more information becomes available,” said Safiya Simmons, a spokeswoman for Acting Chancellor Kaya Henderson.

Wilson is the largest comprehensive high school in D.C. Public Schools. Enjoy the rainy day, kids, and keep your noses plugged on Friday.
