Trump reelection effort has over $83 million in the bank, campaign filing shows

As 12 Democratic presidential candidates took the stage in Ohio, President Trump’s reelection campaign announced it has

$83 million cash on hand ready to be used against the eventual opposition nominee.

According to Federal Election Commission documents released Tuesday evening, Trump’s campaign announced it has $83,216,270.26 in cash, with $216,915 in debt. In the third quarter of 2019, from July 1 through Sept. 30, the Trump campaign brought in $40.9 million.

Over $14 million of donations brought in were from individuals.

The Republican National Committee, Trump’s reelection campaign, and authorized joint fundraising committees have a combined $158 million cash on hand.

“President Trump’s campaign is a juggernaut on an unstoppable path to victory in November 2020,” Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement.

According to the campaign, 98.17% of the 1,056,126 individual donations were $200 or less, with an average donation of $44.50.
