Michael Rapaport leaks series of racial and anti-gay direct messages from Kevin Durant

Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant sent a series of homophobic and misogynist direct messages to actor Michael Rapaport in an apparent feud over comments Rapaport made about Durant on social media.

“I receive threats and disgusting messages DAILY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think @KDTrey5 would be among them,” Rapaport said on Twitter. “The (snake) himself is now threatening me, bringing up my wife and wants to fight. This is supposed to be America’s sweetheart right?”

Rapaport included screenshots of direct messages he received from Durant, several of which contained homophobic and misogynist language.

“I heard it all before u c—,” Durant tells Rapaport in one message, going on to call the actor a “pale pasty c– guzzling b—-.”

Durant then sends a series of messages asking Rapaport to meet him for a fight, eventually promising to show up to the actor’s house if he shares his address.

“10 am at catch steak. On the corner,” Durant said. “Meet me there, p—-.”

The basketball star then goes into a homophobic tirade directed at Rapaport.

“You a b—- for even caring how I do an interview,” Durant said. “All u do is c— suck other men for attention. Trump didn’t pay attention to your sorry a– so now u wanna use everybody else to get views and laughs. Your life is a joke u F—– pale c— sucker.”

Durant then goes on to insult Rapaport’s relationship with his wife.

“Your wife mad as f— cuz u wasting that little bit of money on a lawyers cuz u can’ take a joke,” Durant said. “How p—- are u. Your wife doesn’t even respect your b—- a–.”

Durant was apparently responding to a tweet the actor authored that was critical of Durant’s interview with TNT basketball analyst Charles Barkley.

“KD seemed deeply in his feelings with the @NBAonTNT crew after the game,” Rapaport said of Durant. “DAMNIT he’s super sensitive about everything. Don’t do the interview.”

Durant later took to Twitter to offer a bizarre explanation for his messages to Rapaport.

“Me and mike talk CRAZIER than this on the regular and today he’s pissed….My bad mike, damn!!” Durant said in a since-deleted tweet.

But Rapaport later disputed that characterization of their relationship during an appearance on ESPN’s The Michael Kay Show while also admitting he deleted a few of his responses from the exchange.

“I first thought he was talking crap how he talks crap,” Rapaport said. “So, during that exchange, it went from friendly banter to he made threats, the threats that you read. And what’s excluded from the responses is me basically going, ‘Is this dude serious?’”

“And then I told him, ‘You’re not doing anything to me,’” Rapaport continued. “’You must not know who I am. You’re doing nothing to me. And if I see you, you’re doing nothing to me. And I promise you you’re doing nothing to me. And I’ll meet you anyplace, anytime. I’ll come courtside to your games. You, Kevin Durant, are doing nothing to me.’”

The actor also rejected the notion that he and the NBA star engage in regular friendly banter.

“He started a conversation by saying, ‘I’m gonna spit in your face,’” Rapaport said. “You’re not spitting in my face. That’s not friendly banter. If I go, ‘Oh, Peter Rosenberg, yo, you look like you put on some weight,’ that’s ball-breaking. You’re not telling me you’re gonna spit in my face and then bring up my wife and think we’re cool. We’re not cool. We’re not cool.”

“I finally was like, ‘You’re talking to me like — I don’t know what you’re talking to me like.’ Maybe I don’t know what he got his hands on out there in Brooklyn,” Rapaport continued. “I know he’s on pain medication. I don’t know. Who knows? I’m not saying anything. I’m just saying maybe he’s bored.”
