Howard Stern lashes out at Novak Djokovic over vaccination status: ‘What a f***ing a**hole’

Pro-vaccine radio host Howard Stern criticized tennis star Novak Djokovic’s position against getting the COVID-19 vaccine, calling him a “f***ing a**hole” during his show.

Djokovic, 34, faces being banned from the Australian Open after failing to disclose his vaccination status. The event requires all athletes to show proof of vaccination.

Stern blasted the athlete on a recent episode of his show.

“That f***nut … Djokovic. The joker, I call him the joker,” Stern said. “What a f***ing a**hole.”

“The first I’ve heard of this guy is that he doesn’t want to get his vaccine and he’s running around. … They should throw him right the f*** out of tennis,” Stern added. “That’s it, goodbye. … He’s a d*****bag. … You should be out of tennis. He doesn’t care about anyone else.”

The tennis star’s lawyer has argued that since he recently recovered from the virus, he does not need the vaccine on account of natural immunity. Djokovic’s visa was taken, and he was confined to an immigration hotel for four nights before being released on Monday.

Djokovic has spoken out against vaccine mandates several times, arguing that getting the vaccine should be a personal decision.

Stern responded to Djokovic’s view, countering that those who don’t have the vaccine should stay away from others.

“Well, that’s like saying smoking is a private decision. Well, that’s true,” Stern said. “But don’t smoke in my face, f***nut. What a dummy — just a big, dumb tennis player.”
