Plan ahead this Halloween weekend — Metro has announced that Red, Orange and Green Line trains will be undergoing repairs that will result in 30-minute delays for riders. Delays from single-tracking will begin Friday night and go through Sunday night.
Here are the details for the weekend:
- 30-minute delays between the Red Line’s Shady Grove and Twinbrook stations due to platform repairs at the Rockville station.
- 20-minute delays between the Red Line’s New York Ave-Florida Ave-Gallaudet U and Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood stations due to track maintenance.
- 30-minute delays (through Saturday only) between the Stadium-Armory and Cheverly stations on the Orange Line due to construction.
- 20-minute delays between the Green Line’s Fort Totten and Prince George’s Plaza stations due to track welding.
